Worldwide, 844 million people lack access to drinking water, and 2.3 billion do not have access to latrines or other basic sanitation facilities. Contaminated water and poor sanitation are among the leading causes of death for children under 5. Without access to clean water, proper sanitation and hygiene facilities, children face an increased risk of preventable diseases, malnutrition and other critical health issues.
Through targeted water, sanitation and hygiene projects, CLALYTAN works to bring clean water, essential sanitation and hygiene facilities to homes, schools and health centres so that children can grow and learn in a safe environment.

Sustainability is critical to our long-term success which as both a moral obligation and an opportunity to create value for all stakeholders.
To make sustainability a core component of our operations, we have integrated sustainability-related key performance indicators (KPIs) across all divisions. CLAYTAN’s approach to waste management revolves around the 3R initiatives
- Reduce, Recycle, and Remaster.
Any clay products rejected before firing are recycled into new slip, while those rejected after firing are recycled to create bricks and clay pipes. Additionally, some of these materials are masterfully repurposed into modern art pieces and garden decorations. Our ecoFlush series are engineered to reduce water consumption to only 2.5L half flush and 3.5L full flush*.

CLAYTAN values community outreach as it’s reflected in the improved health and economic outcomes of those who benefit from the programs. We offer scholarships to underprivileged and deserving students seeking to pursue relevant studies.*
We also heavily involved in local community projects and events that raise funds and awareness for a multitude of social causes. One such event is the Bald and Beautiful, organized by My Starfish Foundation*, in which we gathered over 100 people to shave off their hair in support of the Cancer Research Centre in Malaysia.
Together, we build a stronger and more resilient communities that have a lasting impact on the world.
